John W. Gray, DVM, is originally from east Tennessee, but has been living in Georgia for over 15 years. Growing up in the foothills of the Smokey Mountains, he developed a love for the outdoors and a keen interest in our animal companions. He received his B.S. from The University of Tennessee. Dr. Gray also received his doctorate in veterinary medicine and he completed an Internship in Large Animal Medicine and Surgery at The University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine. During his time in Georgia, he has worked at a multi-doctor, mixed animal, emergency practice in Northeast Georgia. There, he gained enormous experience in emergency/triage medicine, as well as specialty surgery (orthopedics, advanced soft tissue surgery and endoscopy). Dr. Gray’s special interests are dentistry and orthopedics, but loves working in all areas of veterinary medicine. He is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the Georgia Veterinary Medical Association and the American Association of Equine Practitioners. Dr. Gray and his wife Lynne have a beautiful daughter, eight dogs, 2 cats and 5 horses. His hobbies include outdoor sports, water sports and flying. His goal is to provide a high quality of veterinary medicine to our clients and their animals.
